What I’ve always wondered about RWD Alfas of this era (Alfetta/GTV6/Milano), since swapping in the later 24v V6s out of FWD Alfas is such a common mod, could you swap in the Ferrari V8 out of a Lancia Thema 8.32, which was shared a platform with the Alfa 164, which is the source of the 24v V6?

Crackpipe. That’s perfect-Verde money he’s asking, and that car is far from perfect.

because it’s too reliable to start with? haha I dunno but I certainly love the idea!

Now that would be a sight to behold :)
Not overly certain you’d gain much over a 24v Arese apart from novelty though. Both you can punch out to high 3 litres. Both can make high 300bhp with decent work. Both sound phenomenal.
Would be damn cool though :)

The Busso V6 is easier to service, lighter, more reliable and with a few simple (and reliable) mods, more powerfull. It’s also the best sounding V6 in existence (IMHO) so replacing it with the Fezza V8 is expensive and moderately pointless.
